Enter Cantina: Revolutionizing Web3 Security Solutions
Cantina announces successful crowdfunded security review for Solady library with $100K raised and waived fees for future public goods reviews.
Mission Accomplished 🫡
Cantina has completed a crowdfunded security review campaign for Solady, marking the inaugural project on the decentralized web3 security marketplace. All collected funds will support the security researchers conducting the review, and Cantina has committed to waiving all fees for public goods security reviews going forward.
Nascent, an early-stage venture fund focused on public goods and security, contributed $43,000 to complete the funding goal. A commemorative POAP has been issued to all crowdfund contributors.
A Brief Retrospective
On May 21st, Vectorized initiated a public call for security review funding for the Solady library. Despite initial community hesitation, the Spearbit and Cantina teams recognized Solady’s critical value to web3 development infrastructure.
The mission driving this effort is straightforward: “Scale web3 security with absolutely zero tolerance for compromise on quality.”
